Every t-shirt we make starts with a story that was told long before it was ever printed.
Why we exist
India's folk art traditions — Warli from Maharashtra, Madhubani from Mithila, Gond from Madhya Pradesh — have carried our epics for centuries. These were never decoration. They were how a village remembered the Ramayana, how a grandmother explained Mahadev to a child, how a wall became a library.
Today most of us walk past that art without seeing it. ARTORYTELLING puts it back where it belongs: on you, in everyday life, where it can start conversations again.
What we make
Each design is built around a single moment from a story — Ravana disguised as a sadhu, the golden deer that changed everything. We don't crop and paste motifs. We compose a full scene in the language of the tradition it comes from, so the piece still reads like the art it descends from.
Printed on heavyweight cotton with an oversized fit, built to hold shape and colour wash after wash.
Our commitment
We work with the folk art community, not around it. Every design credits its tradition, and a share of what you pay goes back to the artist communities keeping these forms alive.
The name
ARTORYTELLING — art and storytelling, because we could never separate the two.
Wear the story. Start the conversation.
